Haknyeon's most favourite hobby as of forever it seems, is annoying the hell out of Juyeon. He's not sure whether it's the signature huff, the sorry attempt at a death glare that follows, or just Juyeon in general, but it gives him the serotonin he needs to kick start his day. Sure, it's at the expense of his hyung but he knows deep inside, Juyeon doesn't mind it at all. Not by the way he almost lets himself get bullied by Haknyeon, or so everyone says.

 

It saves them from ever addressing what they are to each other when all everyone sees is Haknyeon playing pranks on Juyeon, and Juyeon trying to chase him down in return. Plus, he'd rather not entertain other thoughts. Like how Juyeon looks when he dances, all that unrelenting passion illuminated under LED lights channelled into moving his body in ways and shapes that create story, rendering Haknyeon speechless every single time he has the honour of watching. Like when Juyeon listens intently, disregarding everything else around them to pay complete attention to the people around him, making sure they know they're being seen and heard. Like how he does the most to make Haknyeon, resident sunshine-and-rainbows Haknyeon who is barely seen upset let alone unhappy or not smiling, whether he's already had a wonderful day or anything but. Observant, considerate, selfless, and sweet all rolled into one six-foot-man with a face to die for. But that might be Haknyeon's biased opinion.

 

This Juyeon is still the same Juyeon who would walk him to and from school in elementary, protect him from horrible children in the playground with nothing better to do than push him around, and entertained all of his silly whims and fancies; all of that in exchange for having Haknyeon cling to his side, which doesn't seem fair when Haknyeon looks on in retrospect. He only grew more and more handsome, tall, and mature, with all of his sweet sensibilities and kind qualities enhanced rather than lost as time went by. Now Haknyeon wonders if his company is still enough for Juyeon to stay.

 

He wonders if Juyeon puts him on a pedestal sometimes. Then he thinks again as to whether Juyeon would ever leave him for greater heights and even greater ambitions. Better people, perhaps.

 

Then he remembers Juyeon's toothy smile and all of his worries wash away.

 

Haknyeon's favourite hobby may be bugging Juyeon to death but his favourite person is by far Juyeon for all he is and he'll do anything it takes to keep him in his corner (in the most non-malicious way possible).
