idk if I'll get to all of them, but these are some ideas that have been floating in my head about posts I'd like to write up soon:

☐ feminism, formula 1 and the illusion of female representation in f1 media (aka a brief journey through my thesis and a brief expansion upon it using the f1 movie as a case study)

☐ not-so-mid-year music recap and review

☐ a breakdown of my truly atrocious youtube consumption habits (aka a way of tracking/reminiscing what the fuck has been going on in my youtube account these past few years)

☐ thoughts on curating your own social media space and tolerance in the new social media era

☐ anime ship dissection (aka my excuse to talk about about bakudeku and todobakudeku

☐ self care routines and what that concept means in a third-world country

I also feel like I'm about to have my yearly crashout in which I want to change up the look of this blog but I only end up making minor changes that only I'll notice because I like to think I know how to work css but in reality it's handing my ass back to me so we'll see how all that goes lol

once again I find myself with a bunch of media round-ups I was either too lazy or too busy to post but I kinda want to find some routine and purpose to my postgrad life because getting up at 12pm and being on my phone all day kinda isn't really it rn... so here goes another attempt at being more consistent in posting because also, it makes me happy!!! I have a few post ideas so maybe I'll sort those out and post them as well

also random but in following with my recent trend of mainstream rpf commentary i realized i really am too old for fandom after my twitter for you algo tried to feed me live action pjo cast drama 😭 THOSE ARE CHILDREN. also leah is such a lovely annabeth i really think she's perfect for the role. i think i would have loved to be 15 when this show came out... instead i was 15 living in china writing back-and-forth pjo roleplay fic on skype with my friend and waiting for boo to drop on mobilism during our lunch break so we could find out whether solangelo became canon #MEMZ #RIPSKYPE

ok where were we. this is a review of recent concerts i've been to and preview of concerts i will soon be going to! very exciting. back in the day there were many concerts i wished to attend but could not because of travel difficulties and/or my general aversion to doing things alone at night... T__T it is hilarious to say these groups in the same sentence lol but i ended up not seeing either have a nice life or fifty fifty and i did kind of regret it both times... so now i am doing a better job of actually Going For Things and seeing artists i like and it's been really fun!

I'm so exhausted I'm battling my eyelids rn but I'm not home yet so lemme just type whatever here, just so I can keep myself awake.

I love stylish! which is surprising because a 2-min long song comprised mostly of random english words and sang mostly by dancer line isn't always my favorite (see: watch it, trigger, maverick), but I really like the sound?!? I've been going STYLISH STYLISH~ ever since the teaser came out LOL it's fun!! it's catchy!! ARE WE ALL LISTENING TO THAT MOONBAE PART??? love younghoon's lines too. they did so well with juyeon's "drop" lines. needless to say I'm obsessed with eric's part too, and I think he looks stupidly hot in that MV outfit.

another surprise is that I'm not super into constellations, at least not as much as I thought I would be... however! isn't changmin incredible on guitar?????? I love the guitar sound in it. very curious too to know if younghoon is on bass or drums because if he's on bass I #manifested it!

the band unit song is the only song I'm not totally on board for, but I'm still excited for the stage at the concert. (they're playing... right?) SO excited for the aura stages too!!!!!!! in eric we TRUST, the choreo is perfect T__T

the mood in the fandom right now sucks ass btw, I know fandom is never the most pleasant place to be especially when shit hits the fan but jesus christ.

with how late the online streaming announcement came, I'm wondering if it's gonna be different than last time? or did they just forget to do the announcement earlier? lol it's kinda amazing that not a single country in the world seems to have good concert producers. someone give me money to start a company, I'll do it. it can't be that impossible to organize live events!!! someone back me up with the capital and I'll do it, I'll organize kpop tours!!!
